With the emergence & expansion in digitization; several IT players in the market had felt that including digital services to their service portfolio was the pressing priority to sustain in the rat race. Perhaps, adding the service would not have been enough unless people with the right mindset & skill set could maneuver the growth of the portfolio. A similar situation was faced by our leading IT Solutions client while looking to appoint A Global Head for their Digital Services.


Being a young fast paced organization; the stakeholders of the IT consulting company envisioned to take into service someone who could anchor the positioning & promotion of their digital services in the global market, create a niche for them that made them standout from their counterparts & a comprehensive leader having market agility & a well-connected network base.

To aid them in their search for the right fitment; they collaborated with one of the big names in the Executive Search Industry holding USP in supporting on such leadership roles. Yet to the company’s dismay when nothing came to fruition; we as Vantedge Search stepped in the picture to take the reins.


As a budding player; the responsibility of filling the client requisition was put on the shoulders of our senior leaders coming with years of experience & expertise in such brain-racking roles. The strategy entailed-

  • Attaining clarity on what attributes & skill sets were lacking in the previously interviewed candidates
  • The groundwork on prepping up the job description
  • Gaining company’s approval on the same &
  • Heading on with the industry mapping activity to fetch untapped candidates in the market

Over the course, we presented around 18-20 appropriate candidatures, of which best 4 were shortlisted for preliminary interviews & finally 2 made it to the final round of discussion. Irony being this time our client was stumped; since both candidates were pretty much at par in experience, attributes & skill sets. Therefore, they decided to opt for a psychometric test. With the overall evaluation they successfully found their match for the Global Head.


With our winning delivery to have met the requirement of the Global Head; we managed to move up the ladder & be the desired choice for our client to cater such executive roles which previously fell in the kitty of the biggies in the market. Besides, our methodology proved to be pretty cost-effective for the IT Company which was like a cherry on the cake. As of now we are the direct partner to them enjoying the niche we created for our self over the years of association.
