One of the leading consulting firms was looking for a talent to grow the risk advisory space around Internal Audit bringing an element of industry vertical growth. Internal audit needs digitalization, a flexible people model and a more dynamic approach geared to giving timely insights on strategic risks.  Big4s has its own metal in   global & Indian market thus bringing a talent from them or around them was a challenging task.


Getting a talent pool at partner level with the competition around and clients trust in us, bringing the best of the industry was grueling. This had to have the mix of industry element which added a lot of mandatory filters to get the shortlisting for screening making it a very tedious process. Multiple talents advisory were assigned and given their own timeframe and we were given a strong timeline to fulfil this role as this role was falling under growth expansion business.


Keeping in mind the deadline, we created a full proof strategy to succeed with this client. With the long term relationship and serving qualitatively we defined our core plan:-

  • Interacted with Recruitment partners and stakeholders to get the complete information of Business needs positioning the role for the best talent.
  •  Presented forth, every combination of talent which would be able to complete the role and can fulfil the expectations from the Business. Presented people from Retail giants, from Big 4s a stirring combination of industry experience.  What acutely mattered? Was who will be able to justify the role for longer period of time with stability and innovation?
  • Prepared the basket of companies and thus all targeted firms or ex- organisation form the target firm gave us larger bandwidth to contact the best of relevant talent.
  •  Finally after a tedious time with the mapping and collecting data, we found a talent who matched the client’s needs and client matched his, in what proved out to be one of our fastest TAT that we were able to pitch during screening process. Though the talent was not from the direct competition but still getting an edge of tenured advisory and knowing the nerve of client we pushed to get him assessed on the required role. This later proved to be a move worth making.


We managed to close this role quite swiftly and our candidate & client relationship got strengthened as we hit the nail on right TAT for both. 

We managed to close the role using intellectual mindset with the flavor of experience with client.   Also got the confidence of the candidate who was aggressively looking out to get the kind of role in his preferred geography. Being on the advisory it truly came out as a smart intellectual assignment where many partners failed to yield results and we despite entering at the last, were able to hit the nail.
